List of 2022 Daytime Emmy winners in all categories

The 49th annual Daytime Emmy Awards announced its nominations on May 5 with “The Young and the Restless” topping all programs with 18 nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series. But who won at the Creative Arts and Lifestyle Awards held on Sunday, June 18, and then the main broadcast of the Daytime Emmys on Friday, June 24? Scroll down for the full list of winners, updated as they are announced.

The Daytime Emmys honor the best television programs that air during the day, but that distinction isn’t as simple as it used to be. We’re in an era where streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime offer programming that can be viewed at any time of the day, some of which conforms more closely to the kinds of shows that air during prime time, and others that correspond to the usual day rate.

To streamline all awards, the Television Academy and National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences negotiated a realignment which, among other things, cut the Daytime Emmys. Shows aimed at children and families will leave these awards and have their own awards ceremony. Morning shows will compete at the News and Documentary Emmys. Single-camera short dramas move into prime time. The Daytime Emmys continue to honor daily multi-camera soap operas like “Y&R,” “General Hospital,” and “Days of Our Lives,” as well as game shows, talk shows, and lifestyle/culinary programs.

Find out who won below starting June 18 and ending June 26. Join the discussion about this and other happenings on our forums.
