Manningcast Week 13 guest list: Here’s who will join Peyton and Eli Manning on “Monday Night Football”

The “Manningcast” returns for “Monday Night Football” in week 13. Peyton and Eli Manning will be on ESPN2 to broadcast their thoughts on the Bills vs. Patriots, and as always, they will be joined by guests throughout the evening in each of the four quarters of the game.

The guest list has become one of the most entertaining parts of the “Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli” program. Viewers were entertained by what the two brothers are getting for the show. They have drawn people from all walks of life, including current NFL players like Tom Brady, broadcasters like Al Michaels, comedians like Kevin Hart, and even former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.

And with each episode, they keep adding surprises to the mix.

The Patriots-Bills game is one of the biggest Monday Night Football games of the year to date, as the winner of the contest will be perched atop AFC East. As such, the Mannings should have no problem lining up guests for this one, although it’s interesting to see if they can get a current player to join them. This has not happened in the last two episodes, as players may have been spooked by the Manningcast curse.

No matter who the Manning’s are able to land, the discussion should be entertaining. However, it will be difficult for any guest to outshine Marshawn Lynch’s performance in week 7. He appeared on the show and admitted he had been drinking Hennessy (and dropped a lot of curses during the week. episode). This episode itself was legendary, as it was also the one in which Eli Manning showed the double bird on camera. This prompted three complaints from viewers to the FCC.

Will the Mannings be able to top this show and those moments? It’s unlikely, but maybe their three-man guest list for Week 14 will come as a surprise.

Here’s a look at the guest list for the Week 13 broadcast of “Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli” during the Buccaneers vs. Giants game.

Manningcast guests for week 13

  • David Letterman, comedian and former late-night talk show host
  • Aqib Talib, former NFL (and Patriots) cornerback
  • Joe Buck, Fox Sports broadcaster

David Letterman

It’s no surprise that the Manning brothers were successful in bringing David Letterman to their show. Peyton has a relationship with the 74-year-old comedian and former late-night talk show host, and he’s previously appeared on Letterman’s show to throw soccer balls in taxis.

No, we are not kidding. Here is the proof.

Now, it looks like Letterman will reciprocate by appearing on “Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli”.

Letterman is a huge Colts fan, so naturally he’s also a fan of Elder Peyton. Sure, they’ll discuss some of Manning’s best times with the Colts and maybe explain how the Colts stack up against the Bills and Patriots, which they play in Week 15.

Aqib Talib

Talib is a former teammate of Peyton Manning, so it makes sense that he would agree to be on this show. He won a Super Bowl with the Broncos but also played a year and a half with the Patriots before signing for Denver. As such, he might have some unique ideas about Bill Belichick’s program that he might want to share.

This season, Talib has spent time in the broadcast booth as Gus Johnson’s part-time partner at Fox Sports. He should be a natural in the “booth” with the Mannings given his background in NFL games.

Joe buck

Two Fox Sports broadcasters in one week? Careful, Fox. Looks like ESPN and the Mannings might be trying to poach your talent!

Seriously, Buck is a longtime broadcaster who has a relationship with Manning. Both are Hall of Fame members and Buck has called for many Manning games throughout his career.

Buck will likely regale fans with some of the weirder stories of his professional career in the booth. Buck has a comedic side to it as well, so he’s likely to be doing more than a few jokes during his time on camera.

Maybe Buck wants revenge on Manning, who joked in a previous episode of the Manningcast that Buck didn’t know anything about the cover.
