A COMIC convention taking place for the third year in Edinburgh has confirmed actor Ewan McGregor (pictured) will be an exclusive guest.
Comic Con Scotland will take place on October 8 and 9 at the Royal Highland Center in Edinburgh with McGregor joining fans and other celebrities over the weekend.
The Scottish actor captured worldwide attention playing Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Star Wars prequel trilogy and is sure to delight fans in attendance.
It follows the 2019 event, which saw tens of thousands of comic book fans descend on the center to meet various icons and celebrities from comic culture.

This year will also include guests from supernatural drama The Vampire Diaries, Hollywood actors such as Alicia Silverstone and Billy Zane, and voice actors Peter Cullen and Frank Welker. The Hobbit’s Graham McTavish and Adam Brown will be joined by Lord of the Rings star John Rhys-Davies.
Previous stars included cult favorites Jean-Claude Van Damme and Christopher Lloyd, as well as a cast of costumed guests (cosplayers) with whom attendees could take photos.
It also featured a room of vintage video game consoles where guests could revisit memories of yesteryear and a trading room where memorabilia and collectibles could be sold.

Monopoly Events CEO Andy Kleek said: “The next Comic Con Scotland promises to be something really special for fans.
“Our first Scotland Comic Con at the Royal Highland Center knocked it out of the park at a show that saw tens of thousands of comic book fans and film culture fans meet celebrity guests.
“Last [time]visitors enjoyed a plethora of cosplayers, a board and video game arena, and plenty of props and scenery, including our life-size X-Wing.
The convention takes place on October 8 and 9 at the Royal Highland Center in Edinburgh.
